Finally,

This is the last Individual Teaching Practice for this class

In this last week, here are four people that have done their individual teaching practice. Briyan, Julius, Yayan, and Rian.

Briyan taught about Globalization. He give the real problem for explain what is Globalization and the positive -negative impact from that. It was great cause student can easily to understand. Good.

Julius taught about Civic Education - Rules. That was great when he asked the student about rule in their home, but for the story from power point, i don't really think that ixt suit with the subject. But over all, good.

Yayan taught about Multiplication. I love his story about turtles that he give to student for learn about multiplication. Interesting. He make a game too, i like that. But maybe he must make sure the concept of 6 x 8 or 8 x 6. But good.

The last, Rian. He taught about Natural Disaster (Earthquake). He show the student how earthquake happened and how to do when it happen with the video. Great.

My suggestion to all the boys : Make sure that you have an interaction with the student when you are teach them. That will be greater.

Microteaching

Fifit, Maryanne, and Frasben..

They have done a great job.. ^^

Fifit brought an interesting props to props her material about force such as ball, balloon, and etc. And also make a song about that. Interesting ^^

Maryanne taught about Bahasa Indonesia. She make the student active with involve the student to make a conversation by phone in front of the class. She also give the cute reward. Good!

Fraben taught about civil education. His material is very complete, but maybe the way he extend is rther not interesting. So, i suggest that he can more attractive to the student.

Over all, Good Job Everyone !!

Microteaching

This week there are Yessy, Eddy Aprilia, and Vita who presented individual teaching practice.

Yessy have done her good job, but maybe she got nervousness than she forget to give a conclusion in the end.

Eddy Aprilia was great too. She can teach clearly with video. She also give the different worksheet to each group. that's interesting.

Vita, she taught about different culture. Her pronunciation was great.She can attract the student's attention with game. but maybe it's too difficult game for student. but over all she's cool.

Micro Teaching

This Thursday, there are only 2 people that have done their individual teaching practice, Veronica and Yunita. 

Veronica taught about heated object, burn object, and freezing object (science). She brought the props and giving the reward. I feel that she still has nervousness when teaching. Maybe she can take a deep breath before doing teaching practice to reduce some nervousness.

Yunita also gorgeous, she taught about writing (bahasa indonesia). She brought the video about A, B, C, D and it was fun!! ^^. She also give us a reward when we got the right answer.

They have a good job!! Congratulation... Yeyeye Lalala..

Individual Teaching Practice : 4

Micro Teaching

Last Thursday, there are 3 people who have been carrying out individual teaching practice; Raygartheus, Suci, and Betty. They have done a good job ^^

 

First is Theo, he teaching about the document. His appearance was very great when he was teaching. He also uses drama that tells the police are looking for terrorists to apperception, but maybe his appearance is a little scary for elementary school children grade 2. If he could change his costume might be better.

Second is Suci, she teaching about photosynthesis. She showed very interesting video learning, but the sound is not loud enough so that students can not hear. Maybe she could bring the speaker.

Third is Betty, she teaching about math. She brought a props (mini clock) for all the student, but if she give it when apperception it would be better.  

Over all they were amazing, good job guys!! ^^ GBU

Individual Teaching Practice : 3

Micro Teaching

Last Thursday was my turn of individual teaching practice in micro teaching room. Ahh, I was very very nervous at that time. kekeke~~ ^^

I teach Bahasa Indonesia regarding Pantun. I realized that I still have many shortcomings in teaching students. Such as how to control my nervousness, how to control the class when it is noisy. But I learned a lot from the experience I have gained.

I am grateful to my friends who have helped me as well as possible. Thank you for participating actively. That means a lot for me. Although this wasn't the best thing that I can give, but I've tried my best.

And for my friends who are struggling together yesterday, Deasy Intan and Fernando Erick, you've done a great job. We've done it! yeyeye lalala~~ ^^

Individual Teaching Practice : 2

Micro Teaching

First, congratulations to Rumanti, Priska, and Desya who have done their good job in individual teaching project last Thursday.

All of them give me something that i can learn about :

1. Make a fun lesson to attract the student's attention with game, video, or props.
2. Make the teaching strategies in order to control the class.
3. Give the student reward when he/she gets a good answer with verbal reward like "good job", "great" and sometimes we can also give candy or something else.
4. Improve our English!! T.T 

Because next Thursday I will doing my individual teaching practice, I hope that everything gonna be alright.

MICRO TEACHING

First, i want to congratulate to Wahyu, Windhi, and Rini for their great job ^^. 

I even feel nervous too when I saw them in front of the class. hehehe

They have a different method for teaching the students. And for me, there are many things that I can learn about.

What can I learn after first individual teaching practice :

1. Make sure bring the teaching aid to support the lesson to make the students interested.
2. We must improve our grammar, pronunciation, and talk loudly enough.
3. Involving the student to the lesson. 

Maybe those are my problems too. I think I must work hard and make improvement in my individual teaching practice later. Good luck for me! Good luck for you guys!

Small Group Microteaching's Reflection

 Reflection

What I feel when doing practice teaching in small group:

I felt very nervous when faced with the students. This occurs when the students do not respond as I expected. In addition, sometimes I find it difficult when I have to divide my attention to all students in the group. But I will try to improve the my flaws for the next opportunity.

What I learned from my friend's appearance:

What I got from the appearance of my friends is how to make the lesson interesting for the students, how to motivate students to follow the lessons well. And also the variety of methods and teaching aids that can be used in the learning process.

What I am going to improve for the next teaching practice:

1. Designing an apperception that appeals to students.
2. Reducing nervousness when teaching the students.
3. Don't forget to give the conclusions at the end of the lesson.

Journal Micro Teaching

Micro Teaching is organized practice teaching. The goal is to give instructors confidence, support, and feedback by letting them try out among friends and colleagues a short slice of what they plan to do with their students. Ideally, micro teaching sessions take place before the first day of class, and are videotaped for review individually with an experienced teaching consultant. Micro teaching is a quick, efficient, proven, and fun way to help teachers get off to a strong start. 

In first day attending micro teaching , i have more expectation for this class. Invented in the mid-1960s at Stanford University by Dr. Dwight Allen, micro-teaching has been used with success for several decades now, as a way to help teachers acquire new skills.

I think I still a lot of lacks in terms of teaching experience. So I wish I can  not only improve and develop my teaching skills but also knowing how to form an enjoyable and a fun class, how to get feedback by the students and learning about the variations in teaching techniques for elementary school's students.

Then, my suggestion for this class is to create an enjoyable class so we can provide many benefits and knowledge about teaching skills.
